June 15
After an early wakeup, the STA San Miguel de Allende boys got on a 6:00AM flight from Reagan International airport to Houston, Texas. At around 9:00AM, we arrived at the George Bush International Airport. Soon after the arrival, we snacked at the airport. Next, we left for León, México. We arrived in León at about 1:00PM and immediately boarded a shuttle going to San Miguel de Allende. At 2:45PM, we arrived at Casa Carmen, entered into our rooms and got settled. Since we had been awake for almost half of the day, most of us took a long nap, or played mellow games like poker. At 6:00PM we left for a nearby park, and some of our STA 8th graders (Hugh, Keith, and Colin) challenged some locals to a pick-up basketball game. We headed home at about 7:30PM, but on the way saw some people dancing “Zumba.” Once we arrived at home, we ate dinner, chilled, and at around 10:30PM we went to bed. What a fun day!

Después de despertarnos temprano, los muchachos de STA en San Miguel de Allende tomaron un vuelo a las seis de la mañana de Reagan a Houston, TX. Alrededor de las nueve, llegamos al aeropuerto de George Bush en Houston. Después de llegar, merendamos en el aeropuerto. Después, nosotros tomamos un vuelo para León, México. A la una, nosotros salimos en una camioneta para San Miguel de Allende. A las tres menos cuarto, nosotros entramos por primera vez en nuestros cuartos. Nosotros estábamos cansados, entonces tomamos una siesta. A las seis, nosotros visitamos un parque y los estudiantes de Forma II jugaron al baloncesto con los sanmiguelenses. A las siete y media, en el camino a Casa Carmen, vimos a gente bailando “Zumba” en el Jardín. Nosotros cenamos, nos relajamos, y nos acostamos a las diez y media. ¡Fue un día muy chévere!
