Waiting for the parade

After a good night's sleep, we woke up to church bells ringing from the Cathedral (la Parroquia). Everyone at the Form I table had pancakes with a side of bacon or eggs. Also, we drank delicious fresh orange juice. With a small break after breakfast, everyone relaxed for about an hour. At eleven o'clock, we all gathered and went downtown to see the parade. However, after waiting for two hours, we had to leave and head back to Casa Carmen. We then enjoyed soft tacos with carnitas, beans, and salsa. Afterward, we all played card games such as Poker and Black Jack. Next, we all skyped our family and talked about our trip so far. After a long rest with reading and sleeping, we went to the bread store across the street and bought pastries for dessert. Then we had dinner, which was tuna salad, and then we got to eat our pastries. After, most boys left to play a friendly game of soccer, while others stayed at Casa Carmen to watch the NBA Finals. This was another great day in San Miguel de Allende!

Después de dormir muy bien, nos despertamos con las campanas de la Catedral (la Parroquia). Todos en la mesa de Forma I tuvieron panqueques y tocino o huevos. También, nosotros bebimos jugo de naranja natural. Con una pequeña siesta después del desayuno, todos se relajaron por una hora. A las once, fuimos al centro a ver el desfile. Sin embargo, después de esperar por dos horas, tuvimos que irnos y regresar a Casa Carmen. Luego, nosotros jugamos a las cartas como Poker y Black Jack. Después, nosotros llamamos a nuestras familias y hablamos de nuestro viaje. Después de una siesta, nosotros fuimos a la panadería enfrente de nuestra calle y compramos pan dulce para el postre. Entonces, comimos la cena, una ensalada de atún, y comimos pan dulce para el postre. Después, la mayoría de los chicos se fueron al parque para jugar en una partido de fútbol, y otros chicos se quedaron en la Casa Carmen a mirar el partido de baloncesto. ¡Fue otro gran día en San Miguel de Allende!
